Ingredients for Stir-Fried Creamy Cabbage: 300g creamy cabbage, appropriate amount of green onions, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 spoon of cooking oil, appropriate amount of salt.
Method: Step 1: Clean the creamy cabbage, cut it into sections, and set aside the stalks and leaves separately. Finely chop the green onions and mince or crush the garlic cloves for later use.
Step 2: Heat a pan with an appropriate amount of oil, and once hot, add the chopped green onions and minced garlic. Stir-fry over medium-low heat until fragrant.
Step 3: Begin by stir-frying the cabbage stalks until they become slightly tender.
Step 4: Then add the cabbage leaves and quickly stir-fry, maintaining high heat to ensure even heating. Season with salt according to personal taste when the leaves start to soften but remain crisp, and continue to stir-fry evenly.
Step 5: Serve the stir-fried creamy cabbage on a plate and enjoy while it’s hot.
Step 6: This quick dish is a great source of vitamins. Cooking Tips: Control the heat during the stir-frying process to prevent the cabbage from becoming too soft and losing its crisp texture. Stalks and leaves have different cooking times; frying the stalks first ensures the best texture for both. Avoid adding salt too early to prevent the cabbage from releasing too much water, which can affect the texture and color.
